Susan Sherwood
Susan Sherwood founded e’lan Media LLC and served as its president, writing and producing historical documentaries and online geopolitical content for veterans’ organizations and multimedia programs for both nonprofit organizations and corporations. Previously, she worked for the Pennsylvania Public Television Network, overseeing collaborative statewide technology, programming, public relations and education initiatives among the state’s eight public television stations. She served four gubernatorial administrations, overseeing the production of documentaries for museums, satellite and live news events, and multimedia programs that won 37 awards, including two Mid-Atlantic Emmys.
She was a longtime member and chair of Citizens for the Arts in Pennsylvania, vice chair of the Pennsylvania Humanities Council, and a board member of the National Civil War Museum. She is currently a member of the West Shore Country Club and a volunteer for the Peyton Walker Foundation.
Ms. Sherwood lives in a restored 1810 home in Dillsburg and is an avid cook, gardener, skier, golfer, pickleballer and fly fisher.
