Historic Trades Demonstrations
Come and witness some of the trades and crafts practiced at Pennsbury Manor during the 17th century. Our blacksmiths, joiners, and spinners will be eager to talk to about their work and its importance during Penn’s time.

Living History Theater: Funderal of Phineas Pemberton
This month out Role Players will be recreating the Funeral of Phineas Pemberton.
He was a a government official, Quaker slave holder, trusted friend to William Penn, husband and loving father. Now he is gone and the community is mourning.
This first person performance will run at 1:15, 2:15, and 3:15 and will include a walk over to the Pemberton Cemetery.

Beer Brewing and Garden Highlights
Quakers Behaving Badlye Brewing Co., Pennsbury Manor’s historic brew club, will be demonstrating a recipe for “Rembrandt beer,” which was created to approximate the shade of beer that Rembrandt depicted in “The Prodigal Son in the Tavern.
”This event is perfect for art enthusiasts and beer lovers alike! Who said a Dutch Golden Age painting and beer don’t go together? Please note that this event is for demonstration purposes only. We do not give out samples of the beer.
Admission is purchased at the door. $9 for adults, $7 for seniors (65+), and $5 for kids (12 and under).This program is provided free of charge with admission to Pennsbury Manor, which includes a tour of the Manor House and other historic buildings. Tours are offered at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 pm. No reservation required for groups of 10 or fewer.
