Spring Open House Featuring Cast Iron Cooking

Cornwall Iron Furnace will host a Spring Open House featuring a Cast Iron Cooking Demonstration Saturday, May 3rd at the museum located at 94 Rexmont Road in Cornwall, PA from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
The Cast Iron Cooking Demonstration will feature several persons who will contribute their cast iron cooking skills, making a variety of different foods over open fires. The foods will be available for sampling by visitors from 11am - 3pm or while supplies last. Most of the demonstrators are members of The Friends of Cornwall Iron Furnace. The Friends group supports the ongoing preservation of the furnace.
The Cornwall Iron Furnace, its museum and store will be open from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The usual fees will apply for guided tours. The museum store will have on hand a large variety of Lodge cast iron cooking utensils and accessories for sale at this event.
Cornwall Manor will have their Blooms and More event on the same day and offer tours of the Buckingham Mansion as well as Railroad Display in the restored Mule Barn.
