Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for refreshments and more and with a presentation by Author Daniel Raimi on his book The Fracking Debate at 6:30 p.m. Daniel will present: The past, present, and future of oil and gas in the US. Oil and gas have long been central to the growth of the US economy, national security, and the environment. In this event, Daniel Raimi will review the history of the industry, detail the technologies and effects of the shale revolution, and offer thoughts on how the industry's future direction might affect the domestic economy, global geopolitics, climate change, and more.
