Join the Pennsylvania Military Museum on Thursday, April 10, from 7-8PM for its speaker series, History After Hours. Author Brian Black will present on his book, "Ike's Road Trip: How Eisenhower's 1919 Convoy Paved the Way for the Roads We Travel."
Just after World War I, a young Dwight Eisenhower traversed the nation’s landscape with the United States Army. The experience ultimately altered his life, his presidency, and transportation in America.
This one-hour lecture will take place at the Country Inn & Suites at 1357 East College Avenue, State College. The author will conduct a book signing afterwards. Other museum merchandise will also be available for purchase.
