Nancy Moses, author and Chair of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC) will discuss her new book, Stolen, Smuggled, Sold: On the Hunt for Cultural Treasures on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at The State Museum of Pennsylvania. Moses will share her fascinating work exploring iconic cultural treasures that were stolen, smuggled, or sold, and eventually returned to their original owners. The event opens with a reception at 5:00 PM with the program following at 5:30 PM.
The State Museum of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Heritage Foundation will co-present the event. The Pennsylvania Heritage Foundation is the nonprofit partner of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, the state’s official history agency.
