Dear Friends of History:

On behalf of the Pennsylvania Heritage Foundation (PHF), it is my pleasant commission to invite your financial participation in our annual giving program. Since our founding in 1983, PHF has served as the philanthropic arm of the Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission (PHMC) and works closely with The State Museum, State Archives and the Pennsylvania Trails of History sites receiving contributions to finance activities and programs not covered by the state budget.

The Trails of History historic sites and The State Museum exhibits, crafted by professional historians, and supported by the memorabilia, manuscripts, photographs, and official papers conserved in the State Archives, are critical in interpreting and making sense of the past. In addition, there are numerous sources available in the Commonwealth to enhance these inspiring stories, beautiful historic sites, and artifacts. Today many of these can be experienced through physical or virtual visitations. PHF is working to connect these resources and make easy access for all generations to explore and experience our heritage.

The Season of Giving is upon us. Please join in making a gift for this generation and those who come after us. Help support the Pennsylvania Heritage Foundation and their endeavor to keep the door open to history to tell our story to today’s generation and tomorrow’s leaders.
